Social compliance, written by lawyers — not by a machine.

Group S is the accredited Belgian social secretariat that publishes this self-diagnostic tool. We turn 87 years of labour law practice into a tool that answers one question: « am I compliant, and how much would it cost if I'm not? »

Our mission

Make social compliance readable, quantified and actionable for 100% of Belgian employers — including small businesses without HR or in-house legal counsel. No false simplicity: the law is complex, our job is to map it accurately.

Verified sources

Every cited SCC article is re-checked against the Belgian Official Gazette and Justel before the ruleset is published.

Legal review

The Group S Compliance team validates each version (2026.1, 2026.2…) before deployment.

No decision-making AI

The engine returns legal rules. No decision is made on your behalf — compliant with the AI Act.

Transparent versioning

Your audits stay locked to the ruleset used at creation. You are notified if an update makes your report outdated.

Governance

This tool is a 100% Group S initiative, not a joint venture with a third-party publisher. No external investor has access to the reference framework or client data. Product decisions rest with the Group S Digital committee.

Questions about Group S and content publishing

Who edits and validates the regulatory content?

The team of social law legal experts at Group S (110 years of expertise, 80,000 corporate clients). Every cited legal article is checked against the official source (Belgian Official Gazette, Justel) before publication.

Where do the sanction amounts come from?

No amount is generated by AI. The ruleset is versioned (currently 2026.1) and published after a legal review by Group S.

What happens when the law changes?

The ruleset is updated with each change to the Belgian Social Criminal Code (SCC) or applicable collective bargaining agreements (CCT). A new version (e.g., 2026.2) is published and applied to new audits. Ongoing audits remain on the ruleset they were created with — you are notified if a major update makes your report obsolete.

Is the Group S audit compliant with the AI Act?

Yes. The tool does not make any automated decisions on your behalf: it presents legal rules audited by legal experts. No scoring of individuals, no profiling, not a high-risk AI system within the meaning of EU Regulation 2024/1689.
